All of the homes held a 'London Cockney Day'.
We said farewell to Becki who worked in Admin at Whitebeach, Becki is moving out of the area, we wish her well on her new adventure. Residents made a beautiful framed peacock for her.

Our bus could be seen out and about locally. We took residents on a sight seeing trip to Battle, everyone enjoyed a picnic on the bus and were entertained by a resident who played the harmonica on the journey.
Short trips were taken to enjoy an ice cream on the sea front along the Sussex coast.
Several birthday celebrations were enjoyed throughout June. A gentleman from Whitebeach requested a trip out on the bus with several other residents for fish and chips, a great time was had by all. Lots of yummy cakes were created by our talented kitchen team for everyone to enjoy.
Other activities giving wonderful outcomes were; making bird feeders, puzzles, flower arranging, music entertainment in the garden, sensory games, help with preparing snacks and supper, helping in the office, bingo with fab prizes, parachute games, scrabble and other board games, pampering sessions including hairdresser visits and manicures, making salt dough and one to one reminiscing.
