Creating Positive Outcomes

Various May Activities

Our wonderful activity co-ordinators continue to run a full programme of meaningful activities giving great outcomes for our residents.  We have been grateful for the support of Everyday Activities who have continued to support us throughout May.

It has been so good to spend more time outside and start our mini bus trips once again.

Some of the activities enjoyed by all the residents have been; aromatherapy sessions smells that evoke memories, floor games, word games, salt dough making, pamper afternoons including hair dressing visits and manicures, celebrating birthdays, sewing club, a donation of cuddly teddies was very much appreciated, playing musical instruments, assembling and playing with a train set, art and crafts including paper mache, tea tasting afternoon, balloon exercise fun, visiting pets, flower arranging, bingo games, skittles, Jenga, Connect 4, Scrabble, VE Day celebrations, hook the duck, creating wall murals in art and craft sessions, music therapy and indoor gardening.

We welcomed 'Lifesize' who entertained residents with some music in the garden at all of the homes.

Never time to be bored, there are always small group, larger group and one to one activities going on at one time within each home.
