In February Whitebeach and Whitecliff travelled to India. Residents enjoyed a delicious curry with onion bhajis, naan breads with all the accompanying condiments. The morning was spent decorating the dining room ready for the lunch time event. In the afternoon, residents discussed the array of spices that were on tables for residents to touch and smell. Also quizzes and wordsearch challenges with an Indian theme, were enjoyed in the afternoon.
Whitebriars travelled to Italy. Residents made homemade pasta with the support of the kitchen team, in preparation for their lunch of traditional spaghetti bolognaisse.
As an aperitif residents enjoyed a glass of Italian wine with a selection of Italian cold meats, olives and cheeses.
The lounge area was decorated in Italian flags and previously prepared artwork.
A great day was had by all of our residents and staff.
