Creating Positive Outcomes

Other November Activities

Although we are now into the Winter months and continue to live under restrictions that do not allow us to move around in our community with our usual bus trips, residents have been kept very busy.

Regular activities baking, flower arranging, floor games, parachute games, pamper sessions enjoying manicures and hair and makeup, board games, arts and crafts, tea tasting, walks in the garden with our resident dogs, birthday celebrations for residents and staff, family reminiscence, supporting the kitchen staff by helping to prepare supper, movie and popcorn afternoons and family window visits, were all enjoyed through November.

Added to the regular activities were staff and residents supporting 'Children in Need' by wearing their pyjamas, Whitebriars held a 1960's reminiscence day and all homes had arm chair travel days, celebrating Guy Fawkes, and our 'Coast Care got Talent' which was lots of fun.

Remembrance day was also acknowledged and respected.
