Staff Acheivements

We celebrate our staff's achievements quarterly and at the end of the year the awards of employee of the year are announced. The Employee of the year is voted by all staff members. The night staff and day staff of the year is voted by the management teams.


Employee of the year 2020: Elizabeth Glen
Elizabeth has been an outstanding support to Whitebriars and has such a kind heart, soft nature and couldn't show she cared more if she tried. We are so proud to have her in our team. Elizabeth is diverse in her role supporting all areas of the home and nothing is ever too much trouble. 

Night staff of the year: Maria Tzvias
For Maria's long service and supporting the entire night team.

Day staff of the year: Jane Rossati
Jane has taken on the changes this year positively and has adapted to the challenges faced. She has been a positive influence to the team.


Employee of the year 2020: Gemma Waller
Gemma has worked for the company across the homes for almost nine years in various roles. Throughout these years she has overcome many challenges and has taken constructive criticism as a way to develop and grow in her career. Gemma is knowledgable, supportive and skilled in her role and has been an asset to Whitecliff over the past year.

Night staff of the year: Katie Neale
Katie has positively transitioned to Whitecliff and is quickly becoming a strong asset to the team.

Day staff of the year: Margo Balaz
For the incredible outcomes you have given to Whitecliff in your role as activities coordinator. You light up the room with your craziness.


Employee of the year 2020: Mackay Makedika
Mackay is such a happy and positive guy, even the difficult situations you get through making us all smile. You bring such happiness to the home, residents and staff. You have worked days and nights and no matter what task you are doing you always give 100%.

Night staff of the year: Katrina Coles
For her person centred individual approach and excellent support to the night cleaning.

Day staff of the year: Peter Crane
As well as maintaining the buildings, Pete has made strong relationships with the services users giving positive outcomes.

Big congratulations also go to Kira, Elliott, Tasha. Maddie, Lewis and Katie who have all become team leaders.

Further congratulations to Poppy who has made it to the finals of the National Care Awards and the Great British Care Awards, well done and well deserved!

A thank you gift bag was given to every member of our fabulous Coast Care team. It included, a bottle of fizz, chocolate, Christmas candles, a pin badge and a gift voucher, this was in recognition of the difficult year 2020 has been, for the courage and commitment that all team members has shown.
