Creating Positive Outcomes

Week beginning 9th June

For a limited period we have decided to temporarily cease to update facebook/instagram daily, instead we will be updating the website every week with what has been going on in our day to day lives throughout isolation at Coast Care Homes.

This week the Coast Care teams have continued to work hard with the residents personalising their bedrooms. Some residents have used the internet to research their interests, collages have been created and the bedrooms are looking wonderful.

We welcomed a generous donation of some beautiful flowers from Dom's Food Mission. Our residents really enjoyed arranging them. Everyone has been admiring the colourful displays.

Residents are encouraged to get involved with daily chores. Preparing fruit cocktail snacks whilst sitting around a table chatting was enjoyed this week.

Using clay with a potters wheel was a wonderful sensory activity at Whitecliff this week.

The usual games, arts and crafts,  pamper sessions, movie afternoons with a hot chocolate and quizzes and made for another busy week.

We celebrated more residents and staff team birthdays with gifts and delicious cake.
