Creating Positive Outcomes

Week beginning 25th May

For a limited period we have decided to temporarily cease to update facebook/instagram daily, instead we will be updating the website every week with what has been going on in our day to day lives throughout isolation at Coast Care Homes.

The weather has continued to be kind to us this week, enabling our residents to enjoy the outside spaces at all of our homes.  We even took a couple of residents to the seafront for a trip in the sunshine. All government guidelines were adhered to at all times. The outcome was wonderful. Our residents are used to having the opportunity to be out and about regularly on our minibus trips, they have really missed this during the last 10 weeks. As and when the lockdown rules allow we will endeavour to take residents out on a more regular basis.

We continued to run our usual full programme of activities this week. Residents enjoyed pamper sessions in our hair dressing salons, manicures and massage. Many small group activities and one to one activities took place this week including, puzzles, card games, board games, baking, quiet storytime and food preparation.  Arts and crafts were also enjoyed.

Our chefs have continued to make sure all of our residents enjoy delicious food in a well balanced diet.
