Creating Positive Outcomes

Isolation, Gratitude and Thanks

We have maintained daily life as normal as possible within all of the homes. Keeping our residents safe and well has been our priority.

Some of the organised activities have included making colourful rainbows to display in the windows and a large wall mural at Whitebeach thanking key workers.

A wonderful lady, Julie from the Makers Loft in Bexhill, made along with her busy sewing team, 60 sets of scrubs for the Bexhill Care Centre. She is part of a nationwide team 'For the Love of Scrubs'.

We also had a generous donation of Scrub bags from Dunelm Eastbourne. Staff have been using their time in isolation making and distributing these really useful scrub bags.

Kevin, the owner of Coast Care Home's has made and delivered bacon/sausage sandwiches to all of the homes, he plans to continue this  regularly throughout the crisis.

Kevin's daughter Rosie made some wonderful, delicious cup cakes that all of the staff enjoyed.

We could not be prouder of our 'Coast Care Family'.  All members of the team are amazing key workers.  We have received wonderful letters and comments on social media (some can be seen in the testimonial section of this website). We have had gifts of thanks from families and friends as well as acknowledgements from local businesses in the form of a pizza delivery, and fresh donuts from Krispy Kreme which were distributed around the homes.

Of course on Thursday evenings we can all clap to show our appreciation of all key workers.

We clap and make as much noise as possible for our wonderful Coast Care Team.
