Sunday 11th September was a wonderfully warm sunny day, perfect to take part in the memory walk organized by the B.D.A.A, Bexhill Dementia Action Alliance.
The walk which was one mile in total started outside the De La Warr Pavilion, past the Sovereign Light Cafe for .8 of a kilometer and back again. Approximately 60 walkers took part in the pleasant stroll along the sea front.
At Coast Care some of our staff, friends and residents supported our Training/Marketing Director Jane Mills who is the Chair person of the B.D.A.A by completing the walk.
The B.D.A.A hope the memory walk highlights the work they do making Bexhill on Sea a dementia friendly town as well as raising funds for this deserving cause. We at Coast Care were delighted to support it.
