Preparing for Christmas

Many plans were made to celebrate Christmas at Coast Care Homes.

Plenty of arts and crafts took place to make our homes look like magical grottos! Residents also enjoyed helping to  put up the traditional Christmas decorations.

Trips to the theatre took place, we had pantomimes booked, a visit to hear carols and mince pies at the White Rock Theatre. Pantomimes came to the homes to perform for those who were unable to attend the theatre trips. We had church groups come to visit to take a service, and a wonderful performance of Swan Lake came to our home for our residents to enjoy.

Some residents chose to and were assisted to go present shopping. They then enjoyed wrapping up gifts for excited anticipation for the day.

We always hold a Christmas party at each home, these are fun filled with entertainment, dancing, raffles and party teas. Sadly this year Whitebeach and Whitecliff had to cancel theirs due to a viral illness that many residents suffered from. These parties have been postponed until the new year.
