We are anticipating the arrival of Spring, so that we can start to go out and about without hats and scarves etc. The wintery weather hasn't stopped our many and varied outings to cafes, pubs, forests and coastline. All of these have included the compulsory tea and coffee stop (or hot chocolate lately!) and usually a cake, bun or bacon sandwich too. We have great plans for trips when the weather does get a little warmer. We have renewed our special National Trust membership which allows us to get in for half the price, we have joined a great scheme run by Brighton and Hove Albion Football Club, called Gullys Days Out which gets us in free to many local visitor attractions and we welcome any ideas for new places to go. We recently went to a Tea Dance because one of our residents had told us of her "dancing days". We welcome family members who would like to come along with their loved one on a "jolly" with us.
